So is this the ‘productive player at lower levels working his way to higher division football?’

or is this the guy ‘that switches teams every year bc NIL is killing college football?’

Asking for some HB friends.

Productive player working his way up.

NIL killing football?  It needs reform but I think it is great that we can out bid Georgia for a WR transfer. That never used to happen. SEC been using “NIL” for years. Now the rest of the conferences are invited to the party.

I’m with you on this 24/7/365.

Also great that the talent that is putting people in stadiums is getting compensated instead of just coaches and universities.

I agree with you that it’s nice to see players get some share in the revenue.    They probably should now pay their own way for tuition now though.   I’m fine with the room and board stipends.

the thing I find funny about coaches now, is the constant complaining about the system.    We all agree that the year to year movement with zero restrictions or contracts to abide by is not sustainable, however coaches have been living with that type of system for decades now.   The kind where they can just up and leave whenever they damn well choose, while still having the advantage of getting paid out if they get fired.

I would love to have a member of the media ask a complaining coach one time if they think it’s fair for coaches to break contracts one year after holding a university hostage to make it give out contract extensions and then leave one year later with the next school only having to pay a few basically.  Why can’t players then do the same thing?  I would love to hear a coach rationalize that
