For the only time this season, the NU bowling team went on the road two weeks in a row. The Huskers traveled to the Warhawk Invitational at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. They trailed the first day but rallied to win the tournament.
Although Nebraska won four out of its five baker-style matches, it ranked fifth in the standings after one day of competition.
The last day of the tournament made for a historical weekend for Husker bowling. The team’s 13,940 total pinfall ranked fifth in the history of Nebraska bowling.
