It's game day, wingnuts!

Nebraska's first bowl game since 2016. A chance for our first winning season since the same year. Never has there been more on the line. To say this is the most important game of the next 200 years would be an understatement.

This is Nebraska's first ever game against Boston College. Known locally as the Fightin' Fluties, Boston College finished ninth in the toughest conference in the land, the ACC. Nebraska finished 12th in the 18-team Big Ten.

It's currently 40 degrees and raining inside Yankee Stadium, the House after The House That Ruth Built. Kickoff should see temps in the mid-40s and light winds.

Let's have some fun.

Bowl game...Wow.  Been so long since we've had a post season game day thread.  Hoping this is the start of regular post season again.  Since we have some time before KO what does our staff look like today?

Rhule HC

Dana OV

Butler DC

No DL coach (Rhule filling in)

Is Shorts Jr here yet?

DL coach waiting on NFL season to end

Donnie at OL coach

Foley ST

Satt TE?

Barthel RB

Dvoracek LB?

Simpson (analyst) LB coach

Snow as associate (He have a position group?)

Seems like a lot of new guys starting/getting significant playing time.

Hope they get this win!!!!!!  Be huge going into the off season.

Knapp - you should be the color commentator for the game.   Good start for the thread.  House that Ruth Built and perhaps the Nebraska Rebuild.

What do you all hope to see in the game besides the win?

I hope to see a more relaxed and in controlled DR.  Whereby he goes through his progressions more relax and less prone to interceptions and missing wide open WRs.   The DANA Affect

This.  We "looked better" during his initial 3 games.  Hoping to see some addition by subtraction across the board.  Anxious to see how we look on D with 1/2 the staff gone and a lot of starters/contributors in the portal.
