We're going to be visiting Orlando this summer, and I was wondering what the general attitude towards other teams is? I'm not going to get shot for wearing a Huskers shirt, am I? (We're not going to Miami, so I feel a little relived about that :lol: )

Considering Orlando (Disney World) gets a lot of tourists, I'd imagine I'll be okay.

I'm probably overreacting, but it's still nice to know that I probably am (overreacting).

 
Never been there, but I doubt anyone will give you much more than a hard time for wearing a Huskers shirt. I've worn my gear proudly in Minneapolis, Boston, Dallas, LA, Chicago, Las Vegas, Charlotte, etc. Never had a problem with anyone giving me more than a little lip. I wear the gear prepared to hear it, and prepared to respond accordingly, so I don't get offended. :thumbs

yearly trips to vegas (during march maddness mind you)

Im always wearing husker stuff. And proud of it.

I've heard some Florida horror stories (which kept us from going there on vacation a few years ago). I wear my red with pride, but when you read like:

It's cause for concern.

I think I need to watch that 20/20 about people worrying too much :lol:

But most of the 'tourist targets' I've read were tourists from overseas.

I only asked since here you read about/hear on the news about the latest person randomly shot or stabbed for no reason (like looking at someone the wrong way/wearing the wrong brand of clothing). Which is why I don't go to the clubs here.
