Pea Salad:

1-(20-oz.) pkg. frozen petite peas, cooked 4-6 minutes, drain well

1/2 cup sliced green onion

1/2 cup Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese

1/2 cup bacon fried crisp, crumbled (6 or more slices)

1 cup mayonnaise

3/4 cup sliced Water Chestnuts, opt.

Combine everything in large bowl. Add more mayonnaise, if dry. Chill.

Another version has 3/4 cup sliced water chestnuts for some added crunch.
