This service just became available in Omaha starts at $39.99 USD for 60+ channels.

You do need a PlayStation 4.

The core package which starts at $44.99 USD includes, BTN, CSN, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNNews, ESPNU, FS1, FS2.

More information here.

Just another option.

Once this thing is available everywhere and working properlu, major cable providers will have no choice but to cut their rates in half.

It says on the PS website that you can also view through a PS3 and Amazon Fire TV. Is that for secondary TVs? Do you have to have the PS4 for the initial programming feed?

Nope, you can run playstation vue off of any of those media choices. PS4, PS3, Amazon Fire Stick, I believe Ipad is also an option. Maybe even a couple more. I don't believe it's compatible on PC yet.

I'm doing the free trial now and I put 68101 in and it said it wasn't available.
Dewiz, I noticed it said FSN (regional) on the list. Have you been on that channel? Is it Fox Sports North? (Twins baseball games)
Fox Sports South but my zip code is somewhere in Tennessee lol.

When I did my free trial I put in Sioux City (51106) and Omaha (68101) zip codes and they weren't available so I stayed with the zip code that was already provided for me for some city in Tennessee so that could be a reason why I have Fox Sports South.

That's interesting... I wonder if you could put whatever zip code you want in to watch whichever team you'd like to.... You picking up what I'm putting down?

Does anyone know if the Big Ten Network includes all the alternate channels during the season when there is more than one game on at a time?
Looks like just 1 channel.

So on multiple game Saturday's (which I don't remember being an issue ever this past season) I wonder if you get a choice, if it's the regional game or if you just get whatever is on the main BTN.

I can't check it out anymore cause my subscription is up but I'm pretty sure there was more than one B1G channel

Not to get wonky about this -- but if the smallest package of channels they have is 60+ channels, then this isn't cutting the cord, it's just a new cable provider packaging itself under a different name. If it were truly "cord cutting" you'd be able to pick just the channels you want, not locked into a package of channels.

I've been a "cord cutter" for almost 8 years now. I'd love to be able to go to BTN, give them my $5 per month, and have access to BTN Go. But that option doesn't exist. So I continue to stream BTN for free from shady foreign websites. I'd love to be paying them directly, but I'm not going to pay $100+ per month for channels I won't watch, just to get BTN.
