Possible suspension? Some WR's maybe not ready?

Great read. Fascinating. I wonder if it is too candid and people will be upset.
I like it.

It’s a low-key meeting, with Riley asking questions and doing a lot of listening. He wants to know what his people think about players and issues. He makes the final decisions, but values the opinion of those around him and takes what they say into account.

Very cool

“I think it would be a good idea to call their[freshmens'] parents,” Riley says. “They might know something you don’t know. Besides that, it would be comforting for them to hear from you. It would take a few minutes to do that.”

I do have concerns that one of our Frosh LBs was called 'high maintenance' by the staff...that's not something you do...

...especially if the person *IS* high maintenance.

Riley asks Van De Riet, “Who is going to miss the first game?” He means because of suspensions. Van De Riet names five players, including one defensive starter.

“That’s the one problem,” Banker notes.
Crap...

Any chance the suspensions they were talking about is BYU suspensions?

Probably not, but wording was a bit weird.

Gotta think Mohammed Barry is the high maintenance one.. But I think he is good enough to start.

5 suspensions... 1 starter-- hmmmm...Anyone had any trouble recently?

Unless the goal is to get him to either reduce the drama, or leave. Hopefully this isn't the first the young man will have heard this.
