Pre-Spring Top 25

10 spot isn’t a bad place for us to be sitting. Certainly high enough to make a run if we get past a couple of tough games and don’t have any hiccups in the warmup games. GBR!

My bold and fearless prediction for 2011 is that Alabama is going to end the season ranked around #10. I know they've recruited very, very, well . . . but Alabama has the fewest returning starters in the SEC. Even though Saban is a great coach (and an @$#hole) I don't see how he can overcome that lack of experience in the SEC.

I feel similarly about Texas.

Both teams will have great potential . . . but they haven't shown me anything yet.

Florida 6

I can see Ohio State being number 3 because they have a lot of potential.
That they won't live up to.... :laughpound

All jokes aside, it seems like a pretty fair list. The most surprising selection is Florida State in the top 20. Good recruiting class or not, the guys who are going to see significant PT this next year don't really warrant a top 20 spot in my eyes.
