Prediction & Fark contests

Just remembered that we need to open up a prediction contest for the maine game. Would someone else mind running these this year? Joe I obviously dont mind if you do, but was just thinking that you may be getting a little busy with all the other contests you manage, so if thats the case maybe someone else can do these. Lets stick to the same format as last yr unless someone has suggestiosn: http://www.huskerboard.com/forums/index.ph...?showtopic=1973

But lets change a couple things: 5 points for each contest isntead of 6-- and, no option for redeeming for cash this year.

Also, how about starting some fark contests. Any volunteers for this? The rules would be pretty simple -- a mod would post a picture, then people would fark it up, and we would hold a poll at the end of the week to determine the winner.

Rules:

Members can post multiple entries, but only 1 can be voted on - so if they make a subsequent entry they need to indicate which one they want to be their entry, otherwise we'll use the first one. Also, no offensive content in the farks, or they will be DQd and possibly receive a strike. and any other rules you guys can think of.

I'll take Fark, someone else can take predictions. Unless someone else want Fark too.

Since no one jumped at the opportunity to start one, I just added the first Fark contest.

Just curious, did someone edit my post in the rules changing the images to links? I did it wrong first then changed it and just went back to look at it and they were back to links. I changed it back.

 
Sorry - that was me. When I saw it, it was messed up, and I didn't know if you wanted links or the images themselves.

That's cool, I was just making sure I wasn't going crazy. Not that that isn't an indicator of my sanity, but...

I suppose we could try allowing multiple entries. I can picture people just adding a thought bubble to the picture and just changing the text over and over. We'll see what happens. No posts so far, I guess I should get the ball rolling myself.

So who's got prediction contests or do I have to do it too?

 
We also need to be leary of people copying pasting from other boards. I assume you thought o that Joe - so I take it you arent using images from the regular fark spots?
