Not interested in sending her in for a repair, got the unit for free.
Doesn't have a HD, i was just curious if the PS3 should turn on without a HD in it?
Symtoms resemble that of the YLOD, I have opened her and repaired the heat shield, but had no heat gun to try to get her MB to stick-
I was just curious if any of you have had success repairing your PS3 and if you could answer the question about the HD, maybe all it needs is a HD to turn on.
Open to any suggestions.
