Tight end, anyone?
That's what I instantly thought too. Most of these small town teams are putting their best athletes at QB, so there is a high chance that he can move.

Still, it would be sweet if we get him and he turns out to be the real deal at QB, slinging the rock around while towering over the o-line.

well the rumor is that Jamarcus Russel is now 300 lbs, so if he has a good enough arm Barry could play QB
you are joking right? im really not sure.
Considering that he was 260 in college (LSU bio), I don't think him reaching 300 is that far out there. He has a 6'6" frame.

Using Russell as a yardstick, the fact that Robert Barry is only 225 and has a 6'8" frame means that he is capable of adding serious mass.

If he has any passion for defense maybe he can be the next Adam Carriker. He was a former high school QB.

Or maybe he's destined to stay at QB and be the next Dan McGwire (brother of Mark) who was another 6-8 QB that played for Iowa and San Diego State in college and Seattle and Miami in the NFL.
