Why do you say, "Sounds like...."?  I assume you read something that would indicate what you are posting.  Is it against the rules to say, " (publication) is reporting that X-player will be attending X event." ?

Just curious.  And this is not a knock on you personally. I've seen other people on here do this.  Just never understood why.

In this particular case, I wasn't 100% sure that he was actually visiting or just "trying to make it".

In general, it's mostly to try to stay as far away from re-posting subscription-required content as possible.
