I actually kind of like not having them next to each post. Same would go for post counts. We already distinguish what "level" a person is, which is based on post totals. If we're going to keep the post counts at/on our posts, it would be better if it was the actual number, not "57.4k" or whatever.

It would be great if we could have full, not abbreviated, rep counts on our profile pages, though.

There is still a Bobfather ranking.  The scale was adjusted because there were quite a few members who were off the scale.
