My wife of all people told me about a "violation" could be headed against NU. Although she heard it from a friend of a friend.

Allegation: NU paid a high school coach to pursuade his player to come to NU.

I'm not going to post this on the board, because I'm not going to look like an a$$ when it is not trur, but I thought I'd share it with all of you and only you.

 
Anyone catch this on Big Red Report. I'm really not worried about it:

A few years ago coaches from the Pac Ten were turning each other in for about everything under the sun, including a school saying bad things. I hear it's commonplace anymore for schools to turn anyone for anything under the sun, especially if the school happens to have success beating you for athletes.
I heard USC had problems with Nebraska getting Marlon Lucky. Nothing came out of that. I heard Washington had problems with Nebraska getting Leon Jackson. Nothing came out of that.

This stuff is usually more sour grapes than anything. I wouldn't even give it a second thought.
