[SIZE=19pt]4 cups Water Or Chicken Broth [/SIZE]
[SIZE=19pt]2 Cloves Garlic, Minced[/SIZE]
[SIZE=19pt]1 Tsp. Salt[/SIZE]
[SIZE=19pt]Heat oil.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=19pt]Combine chile and flour; add to hot oil; stir-(it will be a paste like consistency)-and cook for about a minute, continually stirring. (This cooks the flour and makes a roux of sorts.)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=19pt]Add about 1/4 cup water, while stirring; let thicken to a paste like consistency and cook-(about 30 seconds)-add a bit more water (about 1/4 cup at a time)-Add more water, while stirring let thicken to a paste and cook. Until you've added about 3 cups. Should be the consistency of gravy, if too thick, add water-(it will thicken a bit as it cooks.)[/SIZE]

[SIZE=19pt]Simmer-(low-med low heat)-For about 30 minutes. (Try not to let it boil.)[/SIZE]
