I'm kind of surprised Nagurski has no votes. I wonder if everyone is like me - this was a tough choice, with Grange just barely winning out.

 
I had to go with Grange. While this is traveling back through the mists of time, it seems that Grange had more of an impact on the game. He was, in many ways, it's first real "celebrity", and drove interest among the public.

 
Battle of future Bears teammates. Grange started his college career off with 3 TDs against Nebraska. I won't hold that against him. He was a legend even as he played the game.
