Rifles

My main deer rifle is a .270 but I still have, and occasionally use, the 30-30 that I started with a long time ago. I also have a 7mm mag that I took to Canada a couple times on moose hunts. 

 
Ended up buying a Henry Side Gate 30-30 lever. Love the brass work/engravings on the wood. Excited to take it to the range in a few weeks post thanksgiving.

My favorite rifle that I deer hunt with is a Weatherby 30-06.  I love shooting that thing.  

I also bought a Savage 308 when my son started hunting.  It was cheap and light enough for him to handle when he was young.  It's still fun to shoot.

 
My dad and brother are thinking of both getting a Ruger SFAR 16” AR-10 in .308 for our hog hunts. Anyone own one?
