Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers:
10 Large Fresh Jalapeno Peppers
6-oz.s Cream Cheese
1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper
3/4 Cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
10 Strips Bacon, Cut In Half
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Remove the stems from the peppers and cut them in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the membrane and seeds from the interiors.
Blend the cream cheese with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Fill each pepper with cream cheese and pat the top generously with shredded cheese. Wrap each half-pepper in a strip of bacon. Place them on a baking sheet, cheese side up, and bake about 25 minutes or until bacon is cooked as desired.
Let the poppers cool a bit before serving.
