Same team as Josh Kalu. Good offer, but I think we are close to getting both our safeties for the class, unless he visits and jumps on quick.

I've been thinking the same. This year we seem to be reaping the harvest from the work the coaches have put in for several years. Unfortunately we don't have room for all the great talent that has interest.

 
Two connections help here. First, Josh Kalu. Kalu has been peer recruiting McGruder and telling him a lot about Nebraska. The second is Brian Dawkins (follow me on this one). McGruder says Dawkins is his favorite NFL DB of all-time, and guess what, we have two DB in this class, Lee and Anderson, who know and are coached by Dawkins, and know his son.

With the work that we have done to get talent out of Texas (making it a home away from home for Texas recruits), the connections I already mentioned, and the foot-to-the-floor effort the coaches have been doing in this class, particularly at DB, I could see McGruder coming up for a visit.

Had no idea Lee and Anderson were coached by BDawk. As an Eagles fan, that's awesome news to hear!!

He is a coach at Valor (Lee's highschool) and is also the coach of Lee and Anderson's 7v7 team.
