Rashaan Gaulden named us his leader not to long ago...Would be great to get him up here for a visit and get him to commit.

Two updates. He came back from a recent visit to Tennessee saying it was the best he has been on. Rivals and Scout has him 'high' on N, so we will definitely now been committing with his instate school.

Also, new Kentucky cornerback coach, Dennis Ansley (formerly at Tennessee), is now using the relationship he established with this recruit while at Tennessee to get him to commit to Kentucky. Sound familiar?!

The process is early. If he ends up at TN in the end that is fine. It is his home state. We will land our Safeties and if one of them is RaShann then I will welcome him with open arms.

Tennessee still high on Gaulden list, and Vandy is also up there. Not sure where we stand now (though he has said before that he was establishing a good relationship with Coach TJ). Anyone else have news on this recruit as it pertains to our prospects?

Four-star TN DB Rashaan Gaulden (@GmoneyIndy_Uno) will name top 5 soon. Talks Washington, Tennessee, South Carolina http://bit.ly/1669uJQ

No official word from Gaulden, yet. His favorite schools have been Tennessee (current leader), Nebraska, Washington, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Florida State. At one point, Nebraska was in his top 2 (with Vanderbilt) and then was his leader for awhile. This was all before the regime change at Tennessee, which seemed to have give the in-state team a second chance.

Signed with Tennessee. Just saw his name come across on ESPN and I remembered we were his leader at one point. Would have been nice to snag him.
