Refreshing Orange Salad:

2-(3-oz.) Pkgs. Orange Gelatin

2 Cups Boiling Water

1/2 Tsp. Pineapple Flavoring-(Opt.)

1 Pt. Orange Sherbet

1-(20-oz.) Can Crushed Pineapple, Drained

1-(11-oz.) Can Mandarin Oranges, Drained

3 Sliced Bananas

1 Cup Cream, Whipped

Dissolve the orange gelatin in the hot water.

Add flavoring and sherbet and stir until sherbet is melted.

When this mixture has begun to thicken, add the fruits and fold in whipping cream.

Frozen Salad:

1-(8-oz.) Pkg. Cream Cheese, Softened

1 Cup Sugar

8-12-oz. Cool Whip Topping

10-oz. Frozen Strawberries, partially thawed

2 Or 3 Bananas, Sliced

Combine Cream Cheese and sugar; mix well.

Fold in remaining ingredients.

Spread in 9x13-in. pan; freeze overnight.

Frozen Strawberry Salad:

1-(8-oz.) Pkg. Cream Cheese

1/2 Cup Sugar

1 Cup Miniature Marshmallows

10-oz. Frozen Strawberries

1 Can Pineapple, Drained

1/2 Cup Nuts

1 Carton Cool Whip

Combine Cream Cheese and sugar; set aside.

Combine the next 5 ingredients and add to the first mixture.

Freeze in paper cupcake cups placed in muffin tins.

When frozen, place in a plastic bag.

***These are very convenient to have for unexpected guests.

Macaroni Salad:

1 Large Onion, Chopped

1 Green Pepper, Chopped

2 To 2-1/2 Cups Dry Macaroni

2 Or 3 Large Ripe Tomatoes, Diced

1 Cucumber, Diced & Salted

Miracle Whip-Enough To Moisten

Dice cucumber and salt; set aside.

Cook macaroni as directed on package.

Rinse with cold water; drain.

Mix macaroni, onion, green pepper, tomatoes and cucumber with Miracle Whip in large bowl; season to taste.

Cover bowl; refrigerate until serving time.

Ranch Pasta Salad:

1 lb. Corkscrew Pasta, Cooked & Drained

1 Cup Turkey, Cut Into Strips

4-5 Cups Assorted Cooked Or Raw Vegetables:

Cauliflower

Zucchini

Red Or Green Pepper

Broccoli

Mushrooms

Celery

Or Your Favorite Vegetables

1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese, Grated

2 Cups Prepared Hidden Valley Dressing Or Ranch Original Ranch Salad Dressing

Toss all ingredients in a bowl.

Cover and chill until ready to serve.

Spaghetti Salad:

8-oz. Thin Spaghetti, Cooked & Cooled

1 Medium Tomato, Diced

1 Medium Cucumber, Diced

1 Cup Green Onions, Diced

1 Medium Green Pepper, Diced

Mix all above ingredients in large bowl; add large bottle of Italian Dressing and mix well.

Cover bowl and refrigerate several hours or overnight.

Seafood Pasta Salad:

1/2 Cup Miracle Whip Or Mayonnaise

1/4 Cup Zesty Italian Dressing

1/4 Cup-(1-oz.)-(100% Grated Parmesan Cheese

2 Cups-(8-oz.) Corkscrew Noodles, Cooked & Drained

1-1/2 Cups-(8-oz.) Pkg. Imitation Crabmeat, Cut Into Chunks

1 Cup Broccoli Flowerets, Partially Cooked

1/2 Cup Chopped Green Pepper

1/2 Cup Chopped Tomato

1/4 Cup Green Onion, Sliced

Combine dressing and cheese; mix well in large bowl.

Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly.

Cover and refrigerate; serve with freshly ground black pepper.
