After trying many salsa recipes, I finally found a recipe for it that is easy to make and good-(in my opinion anyway). Going to keep making this salsa for sure. I took a picture of it on my cell phone and emailed it to me and put it in pictures, but, I can't get the picture to show. I don't know how to fix it to show on Huskerboard. I am sorry it won't show, I deleted all my attachments so I know there is room, but, it still won't work. I like to post pictures of recipes I make.
Salsa:
2-(14.5-oz.)-Cans Hunts Diced Tomatoes
1-(10-oz.)-Can Rotel Mild Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies
1/4 Cup Fresh Lime Juice
1 Tsp. Ground Cumin
1 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Ground Black Pepper
1-(7.5-oz.)-Can El Mexicano Chiles Chipotles
***Whole Chipotle Peppers In Adobo Sauce
***We Like Hot & Spicy Salsa So Use Less Chipotle Peppers If You Aren't A Fan Of Heat
1 Bunch Fresh Cilantro, Stems Roughly Removed
***I Just Removed The Leaves By Hand To Get Them Off The Stem
1 Medium Onion, Diced
Add the diced tomatoes, diced tomatoes with green chiles, lime juice, cumin, salt, sugar, ground black pepper, chipotle peppers, cilantro and onions to a food processor; blend until totally combined. Give it a taste to check for seasonings.
Refrigerate salsa in a covered bowl for several hours before serving, as it will give the flavors a chance to blend.
Serve with Tortilla Chips/Mexican Food Of Choice
