EDIT.....oh...you're saying they will finish 3rd in the conference and us 5th??? Then what is the 6 and 7 respectively?

It means the bowl will pick one ACC team that finished between third and sixth in the conference and one B1G team that finished between fifth and seventh in the conference.

I'd assume they select the 3-6 (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th) ranked ACC team depending on what bowls before them select and have the option of the 5-7 (5th, 6th, 7th) ranked Big 10 teams

Well, 6-6 is bowl eligible after all...not much of a stretch to say we'll win 6.

We're as close to last year's bowl games as we are to next year's.... These kind of projections are dumb.
