Reported that C. Thomas will start at LT, but Murtha will see some playing time at the position. :clap

R. Picou will have (or has already had) season-ending shoulder surgery :( (he was going to redshirt anyway at least)

 
unless Thomas' play vastly improves, we are going to be weak on Taylor's vulnernable side....Thomas must be as good as we can do at this point.....

Hopefully Thomas was just holding the spot until Murtha got his feet under him. He just started full contact a couple weeks ago if not just last week.

Which shows how bad Thomas has been.

If a guy who has only been cleared for a week is already taking snaps for you, you should honestly think more about a more constructive sport. Say tiddly winks?

 
I hate (or maybe love) to say I told you so, but I said that Murtha would get in there as soon as he learned all the plays. From what I hear is he way way better than Thomas, but is a little soft as far as playing with injuries and has not learned the playbook as quickly. Definate talent upgrade though.

 
I don't know what Murtha's health was like in the spring game, but in the plays I watch him, he didn't look like the man we need him to be. Hopefully, he's improved, I guess we'll see on Saturday.
