Server Move

Hey all,

I am trying to put together a server move that should save us some money. Thanks to zoogs for doing the research on this.

I figured we want to get this done before the season get's rolling. It should be fairly smooth as far as the board is concerned. There are some "under the hood" items I'll need to attend to after words, but the board should move well.

I would propose that we do this on, perhaps, Sunday July 26th. Not sure when I'll be available exactly but if we post that there will be some downtime Sunday I figured that should be good enough.

Can someone handle posting the notification? If that date won't work for some reason, reply and propose a new one. Let me know if there are any questions around this.

Excited to see how this goes.

When we post a notification be sure to include we are upgrading, preparing for the season, etc. Folks will understand.

 
I should have mentioned that I intend to put the board in offline mode so users should get a friendly message.

 
I'll get a notice up shortly, and leave it kind of vague - no set time, just be aware that we're doing this at some point on the 26th. We hope it won't take long, blah, blah, blah.
