Frank, this is mainly for you, do you know why this guy was banned, we've been trying to figure it out and I'm thinking your isp still thinks we're spammers... On a side note, I get my hboard emails through gmail, my isp never sees them.. and another side note, comcast sucks.......

I didnt ban him either. Whoever did can you pls tell us, and let us know if you think it should be perm. I dont care either way, eric runs the show now - I just want to make sure it wasnt a glitch. if no one knows, we should reinstate him b/c he seems genuinely interested in shaping up.

I already filled in Chad, Eric and Joe, but for everyone else, here's the scoop. Below is the email I sent them explaining it...

LOL! You're going to love this, guys. He was never banned...
I don't know if you saw the post by "Western M. Bronco" (WMB) in which WMB made some pretty derrogatory remarks and predicted a season in which the Huskers would win either no games or 1 game. Well, that was Shadow_Husker, trying to play a prank. Someone bumped up his warning level (I think it was Mike - HSKRNOKC), and may have temporarily suspended the WMB account (no one knew at that point that WMB was also Shadow_Husker).

Anyway, guy tries to log in as Shadow_Husker. He can't - his computer has cached his WMB credentials and won't let him log out. He goes to a friend's computer and logs in as Shadow_Husker and apologizes for the post, thinking that he's been banned. He them PMs me asking for forgivness.

I check his "real" account - there is nothing to indicate he can't log in. I ask some questions, and all comes clear. I put a ban on the WMB account and I tell him to clear his cache and temporary Internet files, and log in as Shadow_Husker. PRESTO - he can log in again. All is well.

Ahh yes.

Banned the dude for 90 days until the WM game would have been over.

These pranks got the one guy from the brr in some hefty crapola.
