@JoshHarveyScout: RT @BigRedBryan: #Nebraska flips Antonio Reed from Memphis. #Huskers like Reed as an ATH to fit in on the defensive side of the football.

I butchered the template...sorry, but since this kid is here and it seems fairly surprising I thought it was worth posting.

Huskers Illustrated reported Friday night that Nebraska has one more visitor for the final weekend before Signing Day: Memphis commit Antonio Reed. A 6-foot-2, 210-pound safety/linebacker from Southaven, Mississippi -- just a mile from the Tennessee border and 15 miles from Memphis -- was in Lincoln for an official visit. A three-star prospect according to 247Sports, Reed is a two-star prospect according to Rivals and Scout, and is unrated according to ESPN.

A couple of outlets saying he may have committed this weekend.

EDIT: Scout and ESPN

No way we accept these 2 commitments this morning if we don't have room for the other 4 "elite" visiting prospects this weekend. Mainly Paulu and Alston.

If he can add 20 to 30 lbs and not lose that 40 time, he could be dangerous.
That's hardly necessary or hardly even possible. You don't add 30 lbs. and not get slower. Maybe there are rare occasions, but it's really not likely at all. I also think this size aspect we all think we need to play in the B1G is a bit overhyped. This kid will gain size simply by being in the weight program, eating well, and maturing but I hope the new staff doesn't make the same mistakes as the old staff and act like everybody needs to pack on unnatural weight. Each player has an optimal weight in which they can gain size and strength while maintaining speed and mobility. We saw too many guys the last few years who began to look really immobile.

As for where he'll play in the future, Reed is leaving that open. Wherever the Huskers need him he plans to play

This is what I always like to hear from the recruits/players. A true team player at it's finest.
