Scout is saying that we offered and TE David Sutton has accepted. Sutton is 6-3, 235 from Lincoln. Anyone know anything else?

Bummed we didn't get Vick though, seen him play, dude is an animal.

He grabs one or two a year. Dietz last year, Davis/Lechner the year before. Probably too good to walk on, but might have it Frank hadn't been there waving that scholly in their face.

 
TE was a big need in this class, glad they got somebody anyway. I've read this kid had a great senior season.

 
Sounds like the end-of-season recruiting lull saw us end up with not enough spots, and we threw an offer at an in-state kid to stock up the numbers.

It is better than a greyshirt, though, I suppose, as that would count towards next year.

wouldn't make a difference for next year's class, as we won't be taking 25 anyway. next year's numbers will be determined by room under the 85.

sounds like they'll decide in the summer whether to bring him in this fall or wait for spring.
