I issued sky hy ironman a warning for name calling and sent him a PM about it. Now he's sending me a PM back and wanting to argue about it. He jumped all over a poster and called him a dumbass for saying something about Monte Kiffin and calling him an "old a$$" or something to that effect. He wants the poster to apologize for calling Monte Kiffin a name since name calling is against our rules. This guy may not be here long so I'm just giving you all a heads-up on his behavior.

 
Okay, I'm to the point this guy is pissing me off. Now he's making it personal. He basically asked me in a PM what my history with NU was? I told him I wasn't getting into that with him and to stop questioning my "fanhood." I explained to him this is counterproductive and resolves nothing. He then PM me back and said "I question your fatherhood." I advised him to not make this personal and quit making it sound like I have this problem with M. Kiffin. The original issue is between him and this poster who called Kiffin an "old a$$." I'm real close to suspending his account and asking for a ban. He's 50 years old and is acting like a little kid. Advice..............trying to be nice, but he's about to get a barrage of curse words his way.

 
Tell him:

1. Follow the rules.

2. The discussion is closed.

3. Any further argument will be considered his intent to not follow the rules and he'll be banned.

My guess? He'll not shut up, you can suspend, and I'll slap the ban on.

I have a low tolerance for those that want to argue. Debate? Sure. Ask for clarification of the rules? The same. Argue? Not worth our time or energy.

 
Here is a history of our chat, AR I already did two of those things that you just mentioned so all that is left is a suspension/ban if he responds back negatively again.

I've increased your warning level and I'm sending you a PM politely asking you to refrain from name calling. Not trying to be a jerk, but I have a job to do as a MOD here on huskerboard. Two more incidents and you will be banned by the ADMIN'S on this site.

I would expect as a mod you would have more sense. Attacking Monte Kiffin the way "they" (not sure of their sex) did, should not be "ALLOWED" considering what M.K. gave to the big red nation! How long is your memory concerning the NU progamn?! Lane Kiffin earns no respect from a lot of people because he EARNED IT. His father EARNED every accolade (sp?) he's got. So please post an apology to M.K. on this thread for M.K. being called an " old a$$ daddy". Name calling per site rules as you say. I respect everyone until they give me a reason not to. I'm not going to argue with you, change your behavior or it may get you in trouble. I understand the history between Monte Kiffin and Nebraska. Don't start questioning my fanhood, that's immature at best and results in nothing being accomplished in the end. I doubt Monte Kiffin is a member of huskerboard.com and I doubt even if he was he would come forward and say he doesn't like being called names. The name calling pertains to members of this board, like it or not that's the way it is. Just relax

I question your fatherhood. How can you as a man not correct such poor conduct on this board? At 4:16 a.m., was the poster under the influence? I do not know the work schedule of said poster, do you? To allow such a degrading remark about such an influential coach (not to his son) is unsportsmanlike conduct. As I said, I expect better. Time to watch the bears play the pokes. Don't make this personal by saying things like "I question your fatherhood." It's obvious you are a hot head and don't like being told that you need to watch what you're saying. We police this board the best we can and take care of issues as they arise. If you can't handle this there are two options for you;
1. Don't visit the site

2. Watch what you say

I don't want you to be suspended from the board or permanently banned, but you are heading that way with your comments. Quit making it sound like I'm the one who has the problem with Kiffin, I don't. If that guy has a problem with him whatever, that's on him. I'm not going to allow you to call a member a dumbass or any other name for that matter. I'm not discussing this any further, abide by the rules or deal with the decisions that are made.

Good deal. I suspect a ban will result from this, but the guy has made it clear he's not going to follow the rules or gives a damn what anyone tells him. Thanks!

 
I've seen a few posts from this guy, none with any merit whatsoever. He'll either get banned now or later. It's only a matter of time.
