So apparently snell352 has been attacking the players and coaches verbally on twitter from what our members are saying. How do we approach this? Do we approach it at all? Apparently Eric Martin wants to find him and kill him which is just great. I don't think we need this type of member here, but he hasn't broken any board rules.................yet! Not sure what to do here...............

 
We can't punish him for something he may or may not have done on another site. But we can keep him on a short leash if he brings any of that here. Eric Martin doesn't want to kill him, but they got into an extended back and forth.

I said some not-so-nice things about the twitter member (not the HB member, who may or may not be the same guy ;) ), but I don't think we can do anything else until he does something here. Frankly though, that guy, on twitter, is being a huge a$$. That's too kind a way to put it. Just despicable.

knapp, you use this "twitter" thing all the cool kids are doing, right? Maybe you could tweet some words of support, or I don't know. I really am not that familiar with twitter etiquette when it comes to people that you don't really know at all.

I have zero problem with banning his a$$ right now. I read his crap from Twitter. We have no use for a member like that around here.

 
I think we start on a slippery slope if we start policing our members based on their behavior on another site. I think we're better off letting those things play themselves out without our involvement.

After I saw on twitter how a few were talking sh*t after flat out quitting yesterday I lost it and called a few of them out. I don't want to hear its only 18 to 22 yr old kids. when I was 22 if I quit I got someone killed and while this is not the same thing I hate quitters and just rolling over. If i would have done that, someone would have put a boot in my butt. When they come back to lincoln after just flat out giving up you would think they would be humbled. Dont worry I wont be back to your board or twitter for that matter. I also will not be taking anymore trips to home and away games and donating money to the athletic dept. a more worthy org can use the money.

I love how this guy is beating his chest about the things he did in the military. My experience is, guys that did crazy things don't talk about it. Chances are he didn't do the things he says he did......f#*k THIS GUY!

 
I enjoy how it says it's not the same warrior vs. football player and then still goes off on quitting. Hope the door don't hit him too hard :D
