Two men who were good friends had not seen each other for several years. One afternoon they met but they did not speak to each other. Neither was deaf or dumb and there was no prohibition on speaking in the place where they met. Why did they not speak to each other?

Were other people allowed to talk in that place?

Were they afraid someone might overhear them?

Were the 2 friends dolls and that's why they couldn't speak?
