I lost count of the number of times we hit a UCLA without wrapping up and they continued down the field. Whaley is the worst offender, but there is plenty of blame to go around. It looks to me like our talent level has been dropping over the last three years. We lost Suh and Amakamura 2 years ago, and Dennard, Crick, and David last year. But none of the players replacing them are nearly at the same level. Who is the best player on the defense right now?
I think this is about as good as this team is going to be with the staff we have in place. Recruiting has dropped off and our coaches are average at best. Bo is the best coach we have, but he's a defensive coordinator out of place as a head coach. I think he's more concerned with hiring people he's comfortable with than hiring good coaches,
