We will go 5-1 the rest of the season. I'll put my cup of kool-aid down and listen to what you guys think.

Getting ahead of ourselves much?

Anyways, I'm still sticking with my 7 - 5 prediction for the season with losses to Oklahoma and CU. But yeah if we can give that kind of effort each and every game, which I really doubt, we could very reasonably go 5 - 1 for the rest of the season.

8-4 is doable. We get a decent Bowl Game and work towards next year.

I hope nobody is hanging their heads after today's game. Nebraska needs to be proud and work ahead thinking positive.

Rather than thinking 3-3, lets get back on track to a winning streak again.

Getting to AT LEAST 6-6 is key. We need that bowl game for the following reasons:

1. Makes the winter/spring not feel so long

2. Rewards the players and coaches

3. (most important) more practice time to get Bo's system/program in place.

Not to mention the money and tv exposure :thumbs

Damn, those are excellent reasons. :clap

I think it's doable. However, Ganz really needs to stop making those bonehead decisions if we are to go 5-1. When the stakes get high, we can't seem to shake it out.

Hard to tell. I was actually going to start a thread to this end myself . . . honestly (excepting Oklahoma), the hard part of our schedule is done. Kansas is the only game that looks like a challenge. They've proven week in and week out so far that they're willing to fight it out to the end. Then again, the teams they've struggled with are not exactly incredible teams (Iowa State and Colorado), so I guess we'll find out where they stand when they play Oklahoma next Saturday.

5-1 or 4-2 the rest of the way.
