Texans for Nebraska looking for tailgate party to join

The Texas game will be my wife's FIRST trip to Lincoln to see the Huskers at home. We will be flying into KC on Friday night, staying in Syracuse, NE, then driving into Lincoln the next a.m.

Are there tailgate parties out there that you can just walk up to? Can anyone offer advice on this? I want my wife's trip up there to be a memorable one.
