Dear new HuskerBoard owner,

I understand why you put ads on the page, I really do. However, this ad above is disgusting, disturbing and as a Huskers fan, you should understand how much it pisses Huskers fans in Colorado off. Do something, anything so that this proximity ad is removed. I’m sick of seeing a GD CU Buff every time I click a thread. GET THIS GARBAGE OFF MY SCREEN!!!!!

Yeah, I was getting Wisconsin ads when I was in Madison.  Not before or since.

Location. What you search for. Other things like that determines the ads you see.

I went to Boston this summer, and ever since I get ads for Barnes & Noble in Burlington, MA. It's weird.

@Mavric Do you know how much control/interest there'd be to address this?

We manage digital campaigns at my work and it's fairly easy for us to stop serving certain types of ads on specific sites, but I have no idea what the protocols would be here.

No, I haven't been in on any of that.  I'm not sure how that would work.  Because in most cases it's probably valid to have "local" ads show up.  So I don't know if you can just restrict out schools or anything like that.

That would be a question for @BigRedMax

The ads are served partly by the geographic location of the user. @ZMagers22  if you can PM me the click through URL for the ad I can get it blocked. I don't see it since I'm not in Colorado.
