Thunderin' Bolts vs Michigan State

Final weekend for Big Ten Playoffs.  Man, you cannot dream of a better situation to be in for the Huskers.  This is crazy awesome.  It could come down to Huskers and NW, so pay attention! 

Current Standings - Top 8 play at Omaha, B1G Tourney

Maryland 16-5.... tied for 1st!  These games are important!
Rutgers 16-5.... tied for 1st!  These games are important!
Iowa 14-7.... still in the hunt for first!  These games are important!
Illinois 14-7...still in the hunt for first!  These games are important!

Penn State 10-10 - final 3 games vs Illinois!!!
Michigan 10-11... final 3 games vs Rutgers!!!!!!
Indiana 10-11... final 3 games at Iowa!!!
Purdue 9-10... final 3 games at Maryland!!!!!!

Nebraska 8-13... final 3 games vs Mich State!
Northwestern 8-13 (Just 3-9 in last 12 gms)... final 3 games at Minn
OSU 8-14... conference finished (had 2 games cancelled vs Purdue earlier)
Mich State 7-14... final 3 games at Huskers GBR!
Minnesota 5-16... playing at home against NW (go Gophers?!!!)

So, there are a ton of possibilities.  But in its simplest form, Purdue going 0-3 and us going 1-2 would put them at 9-13 and us at 9-14, still outside looking in.  

So we have to have 2 wins for sure.  But need a sweep to make sure Northwestern doesn't pass us (or Purdue gets one win).

Ok my man, what if we go 2-1?

Purdue lost 14-7 (to Maryland)
Indiana lost 30-16 (to Iowa)
NW lost 15-14 (to Minn)
Penn State lost 18-7 (to Illinois)
Huskers lost 4-1 (to MSU)
Michigan won 9-6 (over Rutgers)

And why can these college teams score boat loads of runs, but for our club, it's like getting a root canal to cross the plate?  Bolt ball...

It's like they have football scores, and we're playing soccer.

Purdue, Nebraska, NW, and Michigan State all in it for the final spot.  Including a possible a tiebreaker with Indiana (should they lose 2 more).  Michigan is in, and Penn State also because of win % regardless.

Maryland 16-5.... now 17-5
Rutgers 16-5.... now 16-6
Iowa 14-7.... now 15-7
Illinois 14-7... now 15-7

Penn State 10-10... now 10-11
Michigan 10-11... now 11-11
Indiana 10-11... now 10-12
Purdue 9-10... now 9-11

Nebraska 8-13... now 8-14
Northwestern 8-13... now 8-14
OSU 8-14... (done for the season)
Mich State 7-14... now 8-14
Minnesota 5-16... now 6-16

I just want the Huskers to, you know, take advantage of a golden opportunity. With the 1st game loss, it makes it a lot more difficult.
