I'm sure many of you read this Tom Shatel article in yesterday's OWH - http://www.omaha.com...-with-tradition. And I know we've had more than our fair share of threads on HB about potentially wearing unique alternate unis. But, I'd like to do a simple poll to get a pulse of what jerseys we want to see from our beloved Huskers.

I absolutely loved the throwbacks for the 300th sellout. In fact, I wouldn't mind if those became our regular uniforms. I just think an alternate uni once a year wouldn't be bad, as long as it's nothing too ridiculous. Throwbacks, maybe a red helmet or something of that order would be fine.

 
The 1968 uniforms would be cool to see.

Two vertical stripes around the shoulder, single stripe on the pants and an off set NU on the helmet.

 
I voted traditional only, because I didn't like the alternatives. I don't want choice #2 at all. The Oregon approach is too much, and I like our uniforms the way they are too much to change over and over and over. But once per year, #3, is too much, too. Once every few years, or for a big game, I wouldn't mind seeing something different. I'm not so hide-bound that I don't EVER want to see something different. Just not all that often.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I just added that option to the poll. I'm thinking quite a few folks might agree with you.

 
I voted once per year as well. And I'd prefer throwbacks like what we saw in the 300th sellout game.

I'd like to see all whites too (even though we don't have the best track record with those). There's just something about that nice clean look. Snazzy!

 
I don't mind a celebratory throwback every now and then, but we have no need to go ape sh#t and change eveything every game or every year even.

 
The helmet should never change, but small changes to the jersey and/or pants is fine. I loved the red socks of the Crouch era. Seems everyone is in black socks & black shoes these days.

 
I'd be down with some black unis once or twice a year at home, as well as some throwbacks to wear one game at home each year. Just one more thing to draw recruits in and it would be saweeeeet!!
