Trey Palmer

It's fun to see hype for former huskers, and this is a fun reminder that all fanbases go a little heavy on the kool-aid for their own team. I think Palmer will be a really good NFL player. But Mike Evans has 9 straight 1,000 yard seasons, and Chris Godwin has hit that mark 3 out of the last 4. Would be 4 straight if he could stay a little healthier - Palmer is at best the #3 this year. The Bucs are going to sling it around though, Palmer will do well and brings a speed element that Evans and Godwin don't really have.

 


I'm glad to see Trey posting this. The thing about the portal, with players having mercenary single seasons to raise their draft stock, is that I don't necessarily think of them as Huskers. Cause I'm not sure they seem themselves that way. It's nice that Palmer can celebrate his time in Lincoln and thank the fans.
