trip to KC

I was just wondering what there is to do in KC other than Royals game and worlds of fun. It would be for a pretty cheap family vacation. We are already planning on going to a Twins/Royals game and have gone to Worlds of fun over 20 times so I was just wondering if any of you guys had advice.

 
there is always worlds of fun/oceans of fun, the plaza is good for shopping, there used to be a science city which would be good depending on the kids' ages.
