I've read that in the past about Roy Williams and the presents. To me, it's sour grapes on Kansas' part trying to hurt Roy's credibility as a coach. Buying a gift (a non-expensive gift at that) for graduating seniors and turning it in as a violation is pretty ticky-tack.
