There are riots ongoing in Stockholm, Sweden. If you read enough articles you can figure out what is going on there. Most of the details are usually at the end of the articles.
That can't happen here though....right?

Comparing things in many of the European nations to us gets into apples and oranges. So many societal differences.
Funny, that so many people want to compare Europe and Australia to the US for health care, gun control, etc.

I'm not doing any comparisons. I read and hear constantly how we should attempt to be more like Europe. We need to adopt the model of the European Union and become more progressive.
By many accounts, some countries are losing their identity and battling issues of third world countries.

Your "that can't happen here..right?" kinda alludes to a comparison.
Keep in mind many of these 'losing their identity' are from far right racist groups.
Most issues are irrelevant to even try to compare. Too many differences in the size of the nations, legal and societal expectations and so on.

What does "responsible a myth" mean? Can't say that I've heard of that before. Do you mean "responsible for a myth?" Either way, I don't really know what you're referring to.
