Use of profanity in the status updates

The other day I updated my status which I stole from Ray Williams Johnson Facebook status which read:

"You guys are lucky I poop. Otherwise, I'd probably never check Huskerboard at all"

That status was taken down so I changed the wording from poop to bathroom. Was the status immature? Sure. Was it funny? I thought so. Did I think poop would be an unacceptable word to post as a status update? Absolutely not cause.

So its wrong to have poop in a status but several statuses having "f#ck" or "sh#t" is more acceptable???

You're supposed to say "f'ing poop"

I don't see why at all. The only thing I can think of is that it was an accident. I just caught myself nearly deleting someone's status the other day before realizing what the dialog box was for and clicking "Cancel."

Maybe someone had a reason here and I don't want to step on their toes, but rest assured I think there are a great number of people in this world who should be thankful for your intestinal efficiency. Although I suppose technically, you didn't say if you were any good at it....

The status I took down didn't have the word "poop" in it, because we're removing those statuses from the front page with the potty-mouth words.

Basically, just be on good behavior on the front page of the site. It's the first thing everyone sees about the board and it would be good for us and it would reflect well on Husker Nation if we kept it PG. We're more tolerant of things on the regular boards, and of course most everything goes in the Shed. But front page - let's keep it clean. Groovy?

In other words, we cant be like ShaggyBevo, where he take pride in being a bunch of a$$hole$ and a board that is a disgrace to college athletics?
