Going to Vegas in August for a bachelor party for my younger brother in law. I haven't been in about six years so I'm sure much has changed. What are you favorite things to do, best pools, best clubs, casinos, etc.?
The last few times there I have stayed at Mandalay Bay. I had never been to the pool until this last time. It's pretty nice. Right next to a really nice golf course also.
The newest hotel there is Aria. I have never stayed there but I have been in the casino. The place is absolutely huge and seems really nice. It's much more centrally located on the strip.
I have been to Vegas 2x in the last 6 months. Once for my daughters 21st birthday and once for my sister in laws 40th birthday. Stayed at NYNY with my daughter. I really like the place. I am not really into the fancy hotels. We like going to the dueling piano bar their. It is a fun way to spend a few hours. You can go to d!(k's in Excalibur for lunch and get insulted, it was fun. Go have a drink at the ice bar in the mirage I believe.
With my sister in law we stayed at the Winn. A little too fancy for my taste and kind of at the far end of the strip.
Pretty much every Hotel has a nice pool area. That is a great way to spend a morning.
IMO the Flamingo is a great place to stay that is a little cheaper. It's older, but the rooms are real nice and it is centrally located. It also has a very nice pool area.
I would have no idea about clubbing. Getting all dressed up, standing in line to get into a joint and them dropping a few hundred to listen to Euro Techno Crap is not my thing.
