Video Player Loading Slow

This was brought up in the Board Feedback forum but I wanted to make sure it got noticed.

I've also noted the board seems to be loading slowing for the last few weeks. NUance pointed out that it seems to be the video player that is bogging it down. After watching it a little closer, that seems to be the story for me as well.

Don't know if something got updated - or needs updated - but it's kind of annoying.

I run Chrome on Windows 7 at work and have the same problem on Chrome on Windows 10 at home.

 
What we'll need to do to test it is to disable it from loading and do run times before and after. I'll do that when I can, but it may be the weekend before I can get to it.

The last update to the code that we've installed for the video player was in January, so if it is the problem, it's been some change that has been pushed through by the vendor behind the scenes.
