Got into it with CactusOG, mostly it was walks who went overboard, but after a verbal in-thread warning he sent me this:

So, I've left it at that, as it doesn't seem he's going to cause further trouble and at least this time has gotten the message. Brownie points/let it be noted that a nudge/reminder is all he needs? For future reference if necessary.

OG skirts the line and rubs people the wrong way. This might be a case where the next time he steps over it, a harsher message ought to be sent.

I don't think he is a problem user yet, it's just that he is a vocal minority opinion in a lot of ways and he will need reminding to better handle disagreements from other folks.

I haven't read what he wrote that prompted these PMs, but I'm sure it's a doozie. walks is a direct guy when he wants to be.

OG is odd. He does push it, but so far he hasn't crossed any lines that I'm aware of. He does seem to delight in taking a contrary opinion, often to absurd extremes, but aside from being odd, he's not a problem that I'm aware of.

 
They're all in the Hidden Posts thread in the Junkyard now. The PMs were in response to a warning in-thread (they were all from the marines urination thread).

I think OG teeters very close sometimes, maybe touches a toe over or so. Yeah, I think that is about it - he is odd, and other members sometimes do not respond well to him.

 
Years ago, during the Callahan era, walksalone used to go off on anyone that even seemed to be supporting Callahan. At one point, it got so bad he sort of volunatarily removed himself from the board. After he returned, he had calmed down, but the guy is pretty right-winged and seems to get set off on those kind of things. zoogs, I think you hit it on how to handle it with probably just a notation for future reference.
