in the longer video he is catching a bunch of them on that lure.   that is the monster though.     wiki says those things can get 10 feet long

Technically speaking, it's not a crank bait, it's a topwater bait, most likely a Whopper Plopper or a variant thereof.

That said, I've never heard of catfish taking topwater lures before.
