You read any thread on this board over the past few days and no matter the topic, the conversations are all devolving into "How long does the university have to wait until they fire him" or "Maybe he'll retire"...and these lines of thinking are absolutely reflective of the Husker fan-base as a whole. Everyone I work with, Facebook conversations, Twitter, you name it...everyone now knows that MR was a bust of a hire. How did they f*ck this up so badly during the vetting process? Surely SE and HP want the best for the Program, so HOW THE H*LL did this happen??? I don't get it.
Let's face it - we're going to go somewhere between 2-10 and 4-8 this year...anything better would be a freaking miracle. If we lose at least 4 out of the 5 games in October, this staff should be fired along with the A.D. - for the sake of the Program.
And to those of you who are still holding out hope that things will turn-around for this staff...good luck with that:
