What the heck? Everything is threaded.

So suddenly this morning when I try to read a topic I just see the OP followed by a hierarchical list of of threaded topics. Did I do something wrong (I didn't see anything in the Controls)? Sorry if this in FAQ somewhere. I did a search but all of the results were from the board re-org thread or people yelling at each other.

It looks like Invision didn't completely implement that set of features together in this version.

Open an thread and click the Options button found at the upper right. In the display mode, select "Standard". See if that doesn't do it. My guess is that you accidentially selected the Outline mode.
