I think it would be cool to get an extended version of the "Introduce Yourself" thread going, to learn a little more about each other, but on a more "non-Husker" basis. You never know how much you might have in common with someone else, or even when we might be able to help each other out with our various areas of expertise. Networking is a powerful thing. :cheers

The "if we can't figure it out, ask him" IT guy. I do pretty much anything from infrastructure design and support to application development and end-user support. Yuck.

This one probably

Delivering papers at 0'dark thirty.

Designing and prototyping microprocessor and microcontroller based systems and writing embedded software to drive them. My degree is in computer engineering. Needless to say my current job doesn't really exploit most of the skills I learned in college.

Working on cars, posting on Huskerboard of course. Drinking. A lot.

I belch BIATCH whenever drinking. Ask DJR. Eric did not get to partake in this DaveH drinking ritual this weekend, however. Oh and I used to play the bagpipes. Yea, like that guy in that House of Pain video. You need a lot of hot air to play that thing, I bet AR Husker Fan would be a natural. ;)

Lived in Omaha my entire life.

I would have to say So-Cal was fun to visit. It's beautiful there. I also really enjoyed Leech Lake in Minnesota this summer, up by Bemidji, that was a lot of fun. Charlotte, NC; New England, Denver and of course VEGAS BABY!

I always say I would love to live in Southern California, but I don't really picture myself leaving Dear Old Nebraska.

I work in Distribution for a Hematology Manufacturer. Not exactly putting my degree to hard work just yet.

This job I have currently is pretty good, but I would have to say the best job I had was working at a restaurant. Man that was fun times and eating great food for free every night.

The worst job I have ever had was probably working for First Data Resources in the Credit Card sorting department. I cherish now being able to understand what my co-workers are saying, even if what they are saying IS stupid. :)

In my free time I like to work out. Lifting weights, playing basketball, throwing the pigskin or baseball around, whatever. I like to work on my car too. Drinking beer with some friends and having a good time. :wasted Posting on Huskerboard, talking about the Huskers or sports. If you asked my girlfriend, she'd tell you my most interesting hobby is making the room smell. :rollin

Video games and movies when not hanging out with my mates. Can't really play any sports anymore; a cane is not conducive to sports.

I collect shotglasses, I have 438 right now. I'm also an amateur astronomer. I've got 3 telescopes: a 3" Celestron refractor, a 10" Orion newtonian, and a 20" Starmaster. I got up to the mountains every chance I get on the weekends, camp out and watch the stars,

Current occupation, financial analyst at major telecom.

Best job would be my high school carrier.

Worst job would be slinging coffee at bookstore starbucks.

Most interesting job, I worked as a supply clerk in a hospital.

Dream job would be any one that I can make my own hours and I answer to myself.

Free time? What's free time??

I don't have any hobbies, I'm a computer potato and I wouldn't call that a hobbies, sounds really dorky to say computers are your hobby. I like to run, I run a total of like 20 miles a week.

Skills, I can drive a motor vehicle, though some might argue that. :)

Live now- I live in Del City Ok. can see Oklahoma city from my backyard.

Where Im from- I was born in Omaha. Moved to OKC when I was 6

Favorite place- I LOVE GAMEDAY IN LINCOLN!!

Place I want to live- Right here. The OU fans suck, everyone else is very friendly.

I work at the Oklahoma National Stockyards. Yes I guess you could call me a cowboy.(Cowboys where adidas right?) I started working there with my dad when I was 9 yrs old in the summer.Been there ever since.

I have a couple things that I love to do. I have four brothers. We live Husker football. I also am the coach of my twelve year old sons baseball team. We practice and play ball 10 months a year. We play very competitive ball so its very time consuming. Of course my daily ritual at the Husker Board :thumbs

Lived in Kansas City the longest. Moved from Crete NE. to Liberty MO. my Soph yr in high school. My favorite place to visit Cancun Mexico. Not enough space to tell.

I work currently at Millard Ref. Services Distribution Center.

Hobbies would include playing softball, do alittle coaching for my sons teams in sports, and hanging out with my husker buddies either here or in Lincoln on game day. Love going to away NU games. and drinking.

boating, hunting, wood working, home repair/improvement, working out, just about anything outdoors.

I collected beer cans as a kid. I have some on display on a shelf around the entire ceiling in my HUSKER office.
