Why the move?

Would you please share why the Volleyball Team, which is the second largest sport in this state, was relegated to a sub section of “Other Sports”?

I'm guessing it's based on the # of posts compared to baseball and basketball, but it's still weird.

Kind of a combination of things.  Part of it is what @Moiraine said.  Part of it was there just seemed to be getting to be quite a few forums such that the list was fairly long but not all of them were getting much of traffic.

So my thought was move a couple of them to sub-forums during the off-season when they are basically getting no traffic.  Then go back to a main forum during their season.  Which may mean that Volleyball and Baseball will kind of flip-flop with each other.

Not sure it's the greatest plan but something to try out to see if it cleans up the main page a little.

Fixing the functionality of the board would be a big help.
